아가서의 ‘여자’와 ‘사랑’에서 드러나는 ‘지혜’
-지혜문학과의 본문 간 비평을 중심으로-

가톨릭교회 안에서 그리스도를 따르는 신자들에게 성경말씀은 항상 근원적 힘을 준다. 그 중에서도 아가서는 2000 여 년 전의 가부장 문화 속에서 한 여자가 추구하고 완성해가는 사랑의 여정을 보여준다. 이러한 여정은 또한, 하느님을 만나는 길임도 보여주고 있다(아가 8,6 참조).

아가서는 고대 근동의 문화적 유산과 헬레니즘 문화의 영향 안에서 최종 편집되었다. 따라서 노골적인 애정표현과 사랑을 찾아가는 자유로움을 발견할 수 있다. 그러나 이제까지 아가서는 우의적, 예형론적 관점에서만 해석되어 오거나, 사랑노래의 시가문학으로만 분류되어 왔다. 하지만 아가서의 여자와 그 사랑은, 이스라엘 민족이 추구하고 간직하고자 했던 지혜문학의 지혜와 의미가 일치함을 알 수 있다. 이를 지혜문학과의 본문비평을 통해 확인하였다.

아가서의 사랑은 창세기 2,18-25의 축복을 되새기게 하며, 그 축복의 시간으로 다시 돌아가도록 초대한다. 지혜는 이스라엘 민족이 하느님의 백성으로서 가지는 민족적 정체성과 여성지혜로 드러나는 여성적 특성을 간직하고 있다. 그리고 지혜의 근원이 하느님으로부터 옴을 알려주기에, 아가서의 여자와 그 사랑은 모두 신적인 존귀함을 가진다. 따라서 본 논고는 아가서를 단순히 우의적이고 유형론적으로 해석하는데서 벗어나고자 한다. 또한 사랑노래의 문학으로만 분류되는 것에서도 벗어나고자 한다.

아가서가 지혜문학의 영향 안에서 형성되고 편집되었음을 고찰하며, 정경으로서 아가서가 지니고 있는 해석의 풍요로움을 밝혀보고자 한다. 그리고 시대를 뛰어넘어 현대의 여성들에게도 온갖 꽃이 만발한 하느님의 정원에서 샘솟는, 생수와 같은 메시지를 건네주고 있음을 상기해본다.

ABSTRACT

‘The wisdom’ revealed in ‘love’ and ‘woman’ of the song of songs
– Focusing on the criticism between the text of Wisdom Literature and The song of songs –

For believers who follow Christ in the Catholic Church, the Bible always gives the fundamental strength. Among them, The song of songs shows the love journey that a woman pursues and completes in the patriarchal culture more than 2,000 years ago. This journey also shows the way to meet God(see The song of songs 8,6).

The song of songs were last edited in the cultural heritage of the Ancient Near East and the influence of Hellenistic culture. Therefore, we can find expressive affection and freedom to seek love. Until now, however, the The song of songs has been interpreted only in terms of the Allegory, Typological viewpoint, or has been categorized only as the poetry literature of love songs.

However, the woman and the love of The song of songs can be seen to be in agreement with the wisdom and meaning of the Wisdom Literature that the nation of Israel pursued and wanted to keep. This was confirmed through the textual criticism of Wisdom Literature.

The love of The song of songs recalls the blessings of Genesis 2,18-25 and invites us to return to that blessing time. And because the source of wisdom comes from God, the woman of The song of songs and her love both have divine dignity. Therefore, this article is to escape from being interpreted as simply Allegory, Typological viewpoint. I also want it to get away from being classified only as the literature of love songs.

Considering that The song of songs is formed and edited in the influence of Wisdom Literature, we want to reveal the richness of the interpretation that The song of songs has as a canon. And I recall that, beyond the times, modern women are passing on messages like living water that spring from the garden of all blossoming god.
